A few new players have joined the band recently. We welcome them all.
Firstly, Pete Rhodes joins us again as Principal Cornet player. We know he has a brilliantly strong sound and will lead our fabulous cornet section fantastically.
As well as Pete, we welcome Lynda Auty to our back row cornets. Lynda has been playing with our training band for a while now and feels ready to join the main band on a regular basis. Finally, another graduate from our training band has joined our horn section. Maura Ward, wife of baritone player Andy Ward, will also be playing regularly with the main band.
The player profile section is filling up nicely too, with photos or details being added for the following members of the band today: Pete Rhodes, Aaron Gillibrand, Ian Todd and Nathan Abbotts.
