June has been a busy month for the band so far, five concerts overall – all of which were well received by our audiences.
We began the month in Horbury where we played for The Rotary Club of Horbury and Ossett Phoenix and followed up these successes with three consecutive nights supporting Help for Heroes alongside the Great Horton Singers at Cleckheaton Town Hall. This was swiftly followed by a day at the National Coal Mining Museum’s Annual Gala, where we played three slots – the final one filled by our training band, supported by some members of our regular band.
All in all, a fabulous month for us!
