This Summer we ran a series of workshops for local children to start learning to play brass instruments. They went very well and you can read more about this starter group here.
However, former bass player Philip Goodall has shared some photos of the Youth Band from 2010 with us. Clive Jowett conducted it with Philip, Malcolm Smith and Ruth Lambert going along help with the playing. Sadly, the momentum of the group didn’t last although some of these players are still associated with the group, which is lovely to see.
