Late March/Early April 2016 Updates

Towards the end of March, the band performed a unique quiz based concert at St. Bartholomew’s Church in Grange Moor. The idea was that the band played music and the audience had to guess which film the pieces came from. The winner received a box of Maltesers for their efforts, making clear it was all just a bit of fun!

Highlights included solos from John Haston (Skyfall) and Louise Belton (Concierto de Aranjuez) – both performances were wonderful!

Thank you to everyone who came to support the band at this concert.

The concert was the last performance for us with Pete Rhodes and Linda Atkinson, who both leave the band to concentrate on playing elsewhere. Karen Craig has also left us for personal reasons. We wish them all the best for the future. We also welcome Steve Langford on Bass Trombone.
