Grange Moor Brass Band is saying farewell to Gary Goodall who has been a member of the band since 2001. He took part in some millennium funded workshops for beginners with Steve Platten and graduated to the main band soon after. Gary played with the band as it rose from the Fourth Section through to the First Section in successive years – 2004-2006. During his time with the band, Gary has also served as the band room caretaker and we are very grateful for his hard work over the years.
We are also sad that Ruth Lambert is leaving the band. Ruth has played with us over 15 years, joining us after helping out too many times to remember! During her time with the band, Ruth has been a stalwart member of the horn section and will be very much missed for her contribution in the band.
