After various auditions the band are pleased to announce that Nik Payne has agreed to be the band’s new conductor. Nik has played with various bands around the country, including principal cornet with many of the countries top bands. Nik has been on good form with the band and has even conducted the band at two engagements within weeks of taking up the baton! The band are pleased to welcome Nik as the new conductor and hope that this is the beginning of a great relationship, further details for Nik will be appearing on the conductor section of this website shortly.
