June and July have been a relatively quiet time for the band as far as performances go. However, we did play at the National Coal Mining Museum’s Annual Miner’s Gala on 29th June. The main band performed two slots and the training band played a final section.
Owen Wedgwood, a long time supporter of the band, also took these photos during our time there.
The following weekend saw the band taking part in the Grange Moor Village Fayre. It’s always a pleasure to support our local village and everyone seemed to enjoy us being there! Thanks to Kat Bentham who filled a gap for us on flugelhorn that day too.
