Festive Preparation

The band are entering a hugely busy period over the coming months with many concerts and events planned in the run up to Christmas. Here is an overview of all the places we can be seen between now and the end of the year. Further details of these events can be found on our events calendar or on our Facebook page.

  • Saturday, 12th November: National Coal Mining Museum – the opening of a new gallery: “Christmas during the Miner’s Strike”
  • Saturday, 19th November: Wakefield City Centre – Wakefield Christmas Market
  • Sunday, 20th November: National Coal Mining Museum – Kirkwood Hospice Christmas Fair
  • Thursday, 24th November: Ravensthorpe with Hopton URC – Nativity Light Switch On
  • Saturday, 26th November: Grange Moor Church – Christmas Fair
  • Friday, 9th December: St. Paul’s Church, Mirfield – Charity Concert
  • Saturday, 10th December: St. Peter’s Church, Kirkthorpe, Wakefield – Christmas Concert
  • Sunday, 11th December: Grange Moor Church – Grange Moor Brass Band’s Annual Christmas Concert
  • Friday, 16th December: Drub Village – Drub Carol Concert
  • Saturday, 17th December: Knowl Club, Mirfield – Christmas Carols in the Club
  • Sunday, 18th December: The Flowerpot, Mirfield – Christmas Carols in the Pub
  • Friday. 23rd December: Hartshead Social Club, Harsthead – Christmas Carols in the Club
  • Sunday, 25th December: Grange Moor Village Christmas Carols
