Summer is well and truly here, and we began the month with a concert in Middleton Park as part of the Leeds Summer Concert Season. The band played a range of music including The Royal Air Force March Past, Clogdance and Highland Cathedral to a decent crowd, despite the high temperatures! Thanks to all who came to support us.

We also bid a fond farewell to our solo trombone player, Julia Osborn, who is leaving us later this month to join Clifton & Lightcliffe Band. We wish her all the best and thank her for the hard work she has given the band over the time she has been with us. The band, therefore, has a vacancy on solo trombone.
