Last night, the band played its annual concert at Kirkheaton URC to raise funds for our local Kirkwood Hospice. The event marked the first concert for our new Musical Director, Alan Jazwinski.
Musical highlights included the theme from Game Of Thrones, to mark the commencement of the final season beginning this week; Easter Hymn from Pietro Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana; and the beautiful traditional New Zealand love song, Pokarekare Ana.
As always, we received a warm welcome from the appreciative Kirkheaton crowd. Thanks to all who came along to support this worthy cause.
