Given the recent advice from the UK Government to avoid all non-essential contact, Grange Moor Brass Band has taken the decision to suspend all its activities for the foreseeable future. This includes rehearsals, concerts, committee meetings, other group activity and individual lessons and affects all areas of the band.
The committee will meet virtually to decide when to resume rehearsals and everyone who has booked the band will be contacted about events by our secretary, Nathan Abbotts.
This is an ever-changing situation, and we will keep everyone up to date as much as possible with decisions that are made as necessary. We appreciate how frustrating this is for those who have arranged an event with us in the near future and for our band members but we cannot go against the advice of the UK Government and of organisations such as Brass Bands England and wish to keep everyone involved with Grange Moor Brass Band safe.
If you want to contact the band about a booking or about joining the band, please continue to do so – all emails and points of contact will be monitored as normal.
